{Baby J & M} | Twins | Newborn

I was so excited when my good friend Leah asked me to take pictures of her babies when they were born.  I had never taken newborn photos before and she graciously trusted me with her precious little ones to give me practice! Unfortunately, due to my being sick during their first two weeks of life, we had to wait a little while to have the session.  When the day finally came, I set up in their nursery and got to work.  It was a little difficult trying to get them to sleep for those lovely "sleepy" poses, but they cooperated enough to allow me to get a few of them.  I also took some "lifestyle" shots of mom, brother and sister with the babies.  All in all, it was a learning experience and I am so thankful for the opportunity!  Here are a few from that day:

Being Florida natives, I think it is a requirement for all babies to be born loving the water.  My kids like to go to the beach, lake or pool whenever they can, but when they can't, we improvise at home.  On a hot day, my youngest son was slippin' and slidin' and blowing bubbles - what a great way to "PLAY!"
